Rismi celebrated her first 27th day of Ramadan today... We believe that "Laylat al-Qadr" (The Night of Power) is the night in which the Qur'an was first revealed to the Prophet Muhammad and it is considered the most holy night of the year. Laylat al-Qadr is believed to have occurred on an odd-numbered night during the last 10 days of Ramadan, either the night of the 21st, 23rd, 25th, 27th or 29th. If Laylat al-Qadr falls on the 27th day of Ramadan this year then that is why the 27th is important .[
There is no history in the Quran as when the specific date is.]

As on the other days of Ramadan, we do not eat,or drink during the hours of daylight on Laylat al-Qadr. We pray extra prayers on this day, particularly the night prayer. Whole night, we will be awake, pray, and hope God will give us anything we desire on this night. Mostly, we perform tilawat (reading the Qur'an).

I have prepared Ghee rice and chicken gravy for Iftar . [ At the end of the day/fasting, the fast is broken with prayer and a meal called the
iftar. Iftar is done right after Maghrib (sunset) time. Traditionally, 'Date' is the first thing we eat when the fast is broken ] . We all dressed up nicely with a new dress ..

We all had nice dinner, but Rismi tasted a little as she is just 6 months old, else she could have had nice dinner. After finishing the Iftar , Shafi went to mosque for prayer and he back home early in the morning around 5am . I put Rismi to sleep and was praying and reading Qur'an till Shafi comes back.
And finally thought of sleeping around 6'o clock in the morning, by that time Rismi woke up .. Then what else .. Fed her milk and Played with her , and slept finally at 8.30 am :)
