Mother's Day activities !!!

Today, Shafi woke up with Rismi,  so I could get a little extra sleep. Once I was awake , I got ready and rushed to office to finish off some work though its Sunday :(. I have not prepared anything as Shafi told me , You go ahead and finish your work, Let me take care of everything today.

After finishing my work, I was back to home at around 2'o clock with full hunger and I was feeling a desire to eat food. Shafi made me a super yummy lunch. He prepared sandwich for the breakfast, and did some shopping for the lunch preparation, took Rismi to Swimming, Gave her bath after returning from Swimming (surprisingly head bath for the first time!!!), Prepared Yummy Lunch (Chicken kuruma + Okra Fry + Rice + Papad + Cucumber Salad). What a supportive husband !! I am so lucky . I am thankful to GOD for giving me such a wonderful husband. I love you so much dear !!!

 After having the wonderful lunch with the family, I thought of relaxing for some time. My little princess, came to the room with a big plate and Wished me Happy Mother's day Amma !!! She told 'I love you so much' with tight kiss. I was surprised to see the handmade Mould by Rismi. It was very cute and I really amazed that, my little girl grown up this much to make such a wonderful gift for Mommy. I was speechless. What an imagination & creativity at this age !!!

All in all it was a wonderful Mother's Day and I am so thankful & honored to be the mother of  amazing daughter. I couldn't imagine my life without the role of motherhood. Thank you to my family for a Happy Mother's Day!

I want to wish all of my mommy friends, a very Happy Mother's Day! Most of all I want to tell my own mother how honored I am to be her daughter and thank you for teaching me how to be the best mother I can be to Rismi. I love you so much and am so proud to have you as my mother! Happy Mother's Day!

Progress Report of PP-I

Summer Break !!! Yes, Rismi's Summer vacation started from tomorrow - March 16th. She has got 70 days of holidays and the school reopens on May 24th. I am not sure , How am I going to engage her. Since we both are working, she will be bored at home in the summer holidays. I have a plan of putting her in Summer classes and started hunting for the good one too.

School Management told us to come and collect Rismi's PP- I Progress report on the last day of school. She got very good grade (A+) in all the activities and Rismi's class teacher Mrs. Padma gave a very good feedback about Rismi. She commented in the progress report as  "Rismi is the Cutest most adorable and independent darling of the class". We are very proud and happy to see this comment.

For each quarter, they have given the grade in each activity. In the first quarter, Rismi got A and B grade only as she was very new this kind of systems. But later, she picked up very fast and got A+ grade in second and third quarters.  Here is her report.

Rismi's Art

             Naturally Rismi is very much interested in drawing & colouring. Whenever she is bored off playing, immediately she comes and asks me , Amma!!! Draw Something , I colour it . I used to draw Fish, Trees, Flowers, Butterflies , Fruits, Vegetables or whatever she asks. How much ever I know I draw for her. [I am not very good in drawing, but up to her, I can draw nicely ;) ]


I am ready to go to school

         When she is coloring, I sit with her and used to tell her to colour reasonably like, Green Colour for leaves, Brown for Stems, Red for Sun etc. [But I don't force her at any cost. Its all with her own interest and involvement]. Now she learnt all the colours and how to colour it and all . Few months back, She doesn't know which is Red and which is Blue and all. Moreover when she colours, it used to come out of the boundaries. Doing something with involvement over and over makes one better at it rite!!! Yeah, Good Practice made her Perfect in colouring.

Amma, Open this Door !!!

      She likes to colour very much. Now a days she started drawing fish , flowers and all. All the time at home, she will be with her note-book, crayons , pencil and eraser. Look at the below photo, How nicely she coloured it !!!   I am amazed at the stuff that she coloured !!!

                Basically she has the natural talent but, some teaching can help her draw in a structured way at an earlier age. She has to enhance this talent by learning and doing some good practice.  All the best my Dear !!!
