The Paradise Gurlz !!

Rismi and Parul  (Chinchu) have been buddies since Rismi was just 2 year old. Though Rismi is one year younger than Parul, they both are very good friends and play together all the time in park in the evening time. When it will be sunny outside, either Rismi goes to Parul's house or Parul comes to our house to play. This is the usual routine of play on Weekends/Holidays.

Today Parul came home in the morning to play with Rismi and She came in a 'Langa-Blouse' outfit (Pattu Pavadai). Rismi also wanted to wear pattu pavadai as like her friend. She requested me to change her dress with pattu pavadai. So I did as per Rismi's request. They both look gorgeous and I could not stop myself to click few snaps of them.

Sahana's Birthday Party

We spent a beautiful Monday evening at Aparna's home celebrating Sahana's 4th birthday! We had a great time... Rismi played hard with the friends & birthday girl which meant a good nap in the afternoon :) . As silly as it sounds, I LOVE taking Rismi to her friend's birthday parties. It is fun to see Rismi interacting with her friends, having a good time and it is fun for Shafi and me to socialize with our friends ;) . Plus it allows my very active 4 year old to get LOTS of energy out!

Wonderful Chennai Trip 2012 !

Shafi's cousin & his family have come  from Saudi to Chennai for a vacation of 20 days. Last year, they invited us to stay with them , but somehow we could not make it up. So this year we planned to go over a weekend . We loaded up on Friday evening at around 6'o clock and reached Chennai at 11 pm ! Rismi had a blast and we enjoyed some family time together...

Lovely Brothers !

We did so much during our trip ( Had yummy home made meals, played games/cards, had ice cream, did shopping, watched movies, went to Mayajal, had breakfast @ A2B, chit chatting, ate so much sweets/snacks, been to Dhama's home, wonderful highway driving...the list of activities is endless!). . Rismi had 4 awesome buddies that kept her so busy (Sona & Sibi - her cousins, John & Jenni - Friends).  I have about 75 photos from the trip, so I tried my best to narrow them all down.

So much Love on Thamizhini!!!

Rismi kept on telling me to meet Thamizhini papa. Hence on Sunday evening [at around 5.30 pm], before driving back to Bangalore, we visited Dhama's home to meet Thamizhini kutti especially. We spent very short time in their home as Shafi wants to cover the drive-way distance with the presence of light/sun [I know, Dhama is upset with it , Sorry dear] . But we loved it and it was wonderful moment and each and every minute counts there.

Dhama served hot hot Vegetable cutlet and it was very yummy.  Rismi and Thamizhini were playing very busy, and both are adorable.Thamizhini papa is very cute and charming. Though she is just 1.4 years old [usually toddlers cries at the unfamiliar faces] , she mingled nicely with Rismi, Priya and played well.  They had a limited play time in the apartments play area , but both of them enjoyed their company.

It was wonderful weekend and went by way too fast :(  ...  Rismi was incredible, honestly. We drove with Rismi 5+ hours each way. Going there we drove through the evening and she slept the whole way. While driving back , she stayed awake for the first 2 hours and was super happy. She fell asleep in the last 3 hours of the trip (we got home at 10.30 pm).

Happiest Sunday !!!

          Its Sunday today .. This week’s Sunday Sleep is a bit shorter than usual. Got up bit late and I was preparing for breakfast lazily. Rismi woke-up and was calling me from the bed. She was bit tired since we all slept late in the night. I told her, today evening  my friend Dhama will come to our home to see you with her kid . Wow !! Suddenly the brightness increased in her eyes to 1000 volts.

        She is so so so happy and asking me, when Thamizhini will come ? Is she so small or bigger girl ? Did I see her before? All cute cute questions.. I could not answer her at all . Since she is asking same question for many times due to her curiosity . Clock hit 1'o clock but she didn't stop her inquiry :) . I was tired of and replied her, You have your lunch and sleep, Thamizhini will come after that.

Hayya, Jolly Jolly !!!

           She was running between balcony and home to check whether they have arrived or not. Due to the excitement, she fell down 4 or 5 times and got hit in the upper lips at once, it was bleeding a little and swelling was also there. To my surprise, She had her lunch very quickly and slept off quietly. She got up around 4.30 pm and asked me, where are they? when will they come ?? . She is very fond of kids .. Habba, I was not able to control her at all.... Fed up :) ..

          Finally I have called Dhamayanthi , but they still not started, and it will take another 1 hour to reach our home. My God, How am I going to manage Rismi !!! . Unusually, Rismi got ready very politely.. She didn't trouble me to get ready. Again she was standing in the balcony to see them. At long last , they have arrived at 5.30 pm.. Uuuffffff ........ Big relief for me :)

Now I'm so happy, and Thamizhini tooo :)

        I have prepared onion Bujji, Bread Bonda and carrot halwa for them. We all had nice evening snacks with the kids . Thamizhini tasted the carrot halwa bit and she liked it very much. Thamizhini was very active and was playing nicely with Rismi. They both enjoyed their company.

       I have to admit one thing here,  Dhama was so responsible and taking care of Thamizhini very much. I am very much surprised and First time, I am seeing Dhama like this :) . Its reminding me one quote,  "The moment a child is born, the mother is also born.  She never existed before.  The woman existed, but the mother, never.  A mother is something absolutely new " . I could see in Dhama :)

        At the end , we had some time to chit chat and we all had very nice time together. Due to some Pooja at her Brother's home for House warming ceremony, she got to leave early. The moment they started talking about moving, Rismi got little upset and somehow we comforted her. They left home by 7.30 pm. Rismi didn't stop talking about Thamizhini. She was talking, talking till she fell asleep :) .

Swimming Beauties !!!

As the summer vacation started, Rismi is all time free at home. She wanted to explore many new things. One among is Swimming. Yep, She wanted to go for a swimming class with her friends . Since she has cold , We don't want her to play in water at this age. But she kept on compelling us, we thought of allowing her weekly once for swimming.

As we have a Swimming pool inside our apartment, Rismi goes with Shafi for swimming on every Sunday for almost 2 hours. This Sunday her friend Sahana also joined her and Rismi got excited and she was so happy about it . Rismi insisting Shafi to go for swimming after having their breakfast. As it was cold outside, Shafi told her strictly that, we cant go till SUN rises and the water should get warm.  Rismi was little upset :( and she was quietly playing with Sahana at home.
 

How long do we need to wait ?



They both got ready in their swimming suit and we applied Sunscreen lotion all over their body. Finally they all went for swimming at around 11'o clock  to have some fun in the sun!. Rismi was very very happy to have some play time with her friend Sahana. She has no fear of the water... She loves to jump into the water and has no hesitations...

There is a rule in the apartment is that "Cameras are strictly prohibited inside Swimming Pool Area " as there wont be any privacy for others. So we could not click any snaps of kutties playing in the water . After 2 hours of playing in the the pool , they came home for a lunch and had a peaceful nap :)

           My colleague Priya wanted a transfer to her hometown - Chennai and she got it also. So she gave us Treat to celebrate the transfer [Ya, Its a Farewell treat only !!!] . So we planned to go to Atithi Restaurant for lunch on 1st December. Priya asked me to bring Rismi also along with me . I replied her , it depends on Rismi's Mood , let me try to bring her to restaurant.

        Today I have asked Rismi that, " I am going out for lunch with my friends. Do you come with me ?? " . She asked me again "Friends-na , who are all Amma? " .. I told her " Priya aunty and Pavani Aunty ". Then she said, oh !! No uncles rite , I will also come with you .. [ She is bit scared with strangers [especially Gents] from her babyhood . ] . She got ready in pattu pavadai and happy to come with me. 

I am ready !! lets go for lunch .

            It was drizzling a bit in the afternoon and she held the umbrella in her hand and walked with me so merrily. We reached the hotel and placed the order. As it is a Andhra cuisine [most of the items are spicy],  we safely ordered Finger Chips for Rismi and she likes it too.

         To my Surprise, Rismi is not reserved there and she is so friendly and mingled nicely with Pavani and Priya . Ya, Rismi is grown up now!!! We had a very good lunch, but Rismi just tasted the Kalmi kabab and Chicken Biryani [As it was spicy, she said , No amma!!! It is kaara .. I don't want] . But she enjoyed the Finger chips. While coming back , she took one handful of Sweet - Saunf from the restaurant . Now a days, Its became a routine for her :) .

  
       I thought of dropping her to home and come back to office. We have to cross my office to go to home. The moment Priya and Pavani said bye to Rismi, She started compelling me to take her to my office. I said, "No, No Rismi, Its a working hour, You should not come ", like that . So Rismi got upset and her face became very dull :( . Then Pavani and Priya encouraged me to take her inside. Hence, I put a condition to Rismi that, only 10 minutes, after that we have to go to home.. She is agreed and became so happy. Her face glowed like a 1000 volts bulb when i said YES to her  :) .

I know to play Carom !!!

           We all went to canopy directly . Rismi enjoyed a lot there and played carom with Priya and Pavani for sometime. Then , she said Bye to them and we came back home !!! Rismi had a very nice time with my friends, and  they too enjoyed her company !!!
